Edit Stripe Descriptor
The Stripe descriptor is the business name that appears on your clients' credit card statements when they are charged through WithinEHR. Setting a clear, recognizable descriptor reduces client confusion and helps prevent unnecessary chargebacks.
How to Edit Your Stripe Descriptor
- Go to Settings on the navigation pane.
- Select Billing or Payment Settings.
- Find the Statement Descriptor field.
- Enter the name you want to appear on client statements (e.g., your practice name).
- Click Save.
Tips
- Use your practice's commonly known name — the one clients will recognize on their statement.
- Stripe descriptors are limited to 22 characters. Keep it concise and clear.
- Changes may take a few days to appear on new transactions.
