Setting Up a Stripe Account
Stripe is WithinEHR's integrated payment processor. Connecting your Stripe account enables you to collect online payments, send payment links, save client payment methods, and manage your full billing workflow securely.
Before You Start
- Have your business information ready — legal business name, address, tax ID, and bank account details.
- Ensure you have admin access to your WithinEHR account.
How to Connect Stripe
- Go to Settings on the navigation pane.
- Select Billing or Payment Settings.
- Click Connect Stripe.
- You will be redirected to Stripe's onboarding flow.
- Enter your business details and bank account information.
- Complete Stripe's identity verification steps.
- Once approved, you will be redirected back to WithinEHR with Stripe connected.
After Connecting
Once Stripe is connected, you can:
- Process card payments directly from invoices
- Save client payment methods for future charges
- Send secure payment links to clients
- View transaction history in both WithinEHR and your Stripe dashboard
Tips
- Stripe payouts are typically deposited to your bank account within 2 business days after a payment is processed.
- Review your Stripe dashboard regularly for any flagged transactions or payout issues.
