Ways to Log In to WithinEHR

WithinEHR supports multiple authentication methods to balance security and convenience for your team.

Authentication Options

Email and Password

The standard login method. Use your registered email address and a strong, unique password.

Single Sign-On (SSO)

If your organization uses an identity provider (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure AD), you may be able to log in using SSO — eliminating the need for a separate WithinEHR password.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

MFA adds a second layer of security by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. See: Multi-Factor Authentication

Security Best Practices

  • Use a unique, strong password for your WithinEHR account.
  • Enable MFA for all accounts with access to PHI.
  • Never share your login credentials with colleagues — each user should have their own account for audit trail integrity.
  • Log out of WithinEHR when leaving a shared workstation. See: Logging Out
