Importing Templates

If you are migrating from another EHR or have existing templates built outside of WithinEHR, you can import them directly into your template library to avoid rebuilding from scratch.

How to Import Templates​

  1. Go to Settings > Template Library.
  2. Click Import Templates.
  3. Select the file format supported by WithinEHR (e.g., CSV, JSON, or the platform's native export format).
  4. Upload the file.
  5. Review the import preview — check that field mappings are correct.
  6. Confirm the import to add the templates to your library.

Tips​

  • Review imported templates carefully before using them in clinical workflows — formatting and field logic may need adjustment after import.
  • Organize imported templates into folders immediately after import to keep your library structured.
