Adjusting Your Client's Timezone

Setting the correct timezone for a client ensures that appointment reminders, portal notifications, and scheduled communications are delivered at the right local time — regardless of where the client is located.


How to Adjust a Client's Timezone

  1. Open the client's record.
  2. Navigate to the Personal Information or Demographics tab.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Find the Timezone field.
  5. Select the timezone that matches the client's location.
  6. Click Save.

Why This Matters

For telehealth clients or clients in different time zones from your practice, an incorrect timezone setting can result in missed appointments due to reminder timing errors. Always verify timezone settings during the initial intake process.
