Archiving Clients
Archiving a client removes them from your active client list without deleting their records. All clinical notes, billing history, and documents are preserved and remain accessible for compliance, audits, and future care.
When to Archive a Client
- The client has completed their treatment and is no longer active.
- The client has transferred to another provider.
- The client has not been seen in an extended period and is unlikely to return.
How to Archive a Client
- Open the client's record.
- Click the Actions menu or the Edit button.
- Select Archive Client.
- Confirm the action.
The client will be removed from your active list but can be found by searching archived records.
Reactivating an Archived Client
If an archived client returns, you can reactivate their record without losing any historical data.
- Search for the client using the Archived filter.
- Open their record.
- Click Reactivate Client.
