Why Is Accurate Client Intake Essential?

Adding a new client in WithinEHR is far more than simple data entry; it's the foundational step that dictates the quality, safety, and efficiency of all subsequent care. An accurately created client profile ensures a seamless experience for both the patient and your clinical team.

Steps to adding a new client

  1. Navigate to the Intake Module: From your WithinEHR dashboard, click on the "Patients" tab, and then select "Add New Patient."
  2. Input Core Demographics: Enter the client's Full Legal Name (as it appears on their insurance card), Date of Birth, and Gender.
  3. Primary Contact: Input the client's preferred Phone Number and Email Address. This is crucial for appointment reminders and secure patient portal communication.
  4. Assign Clinician: The practice assigns a clinician to the client to ensure free communication within the practice and their clients.
  5. Save: Click "Save".
