Manage Client Status

Client status reflects where a patient is in their relationship with your practice. Keeping statuses accurate ensures your active client list is clean, your reporting is reliable, and your team always knows who is currently under care.


Client Status Types

StatusMeaning
ActiveCurrently receiving care or recently seen
InactiveNot currently receiving care but record is retained
ArchivedNo longer active; record preserved for compliance

How to Update a Client's Status

  1. Open the client's record.
  2. Click the Edit button or open the Actions menu.
  3. Select Change Status.
  4. Choose the new status.
  5. Click Save.
