Recovering Deleted Items

WithinEHR retains recently deleted items in a recoverable state for a defined period, allowing you to restore accidentally deleted client records, notes, or documents before they are permanently removed.


How to Recover a Deleted Item

  1. Go to Settings or the relevant section (e.g., Patients, Documentation).
  2. Look for a Deleted Items, Trash, or Recently Deleted filter.
  3. Locate the item you want to restore.
  4. Click Restore or Recover.

The item will be returned to its original location in the system.


Tips

  • Act quickly — deleted items are only recoverable for a limited time before permanent deletion.
  • If you cannot find a deleted item, contact WithinEHR support for assistance with data recovery.
