Set Availability for Specific Services
Service-level availability lets you define exactly when a specific service can be booked — independent of a provider's general working hours. This gives you granular control over your schedule and prevents clients from booking services at times when the necessary resources are not available.
Why Service-Level Availability Matters
- Granular Control: Limit complex or long-duration services to specific time windows (e.g., new patient intakes only in the morning).
- Resource Optimization: Group similar appointments together to reduce setup time and context switching.
- Prevent Booking Errors: Ensure clients cannot book a service that requires a specific room or staff member when that resource is unavailable.
How to Set Availability for a Specific Service
- Go to Settings > Services.
- Select the service you want to configure.
- Find the Availability or Booking Hours section.
- Set the days and times when this service can be booked.
- Click Save.
Tips
- Review service availability settings whenever you change your general practice hours to ensure they remain aligned.
- Use service-level availability to protect high-demand time slots for your most critical appointment types.
