Change Video Background

Customizing your video background helps maintain a professional appearance during telehealth sessions — especially when working from home or a non-clinical environment.

How to Change Your Video Background​

  1. Join or start a video session.
  2. Click the Settings or Background icon in the session controls.
  3. Choose from the available options:
    • Blur — blurs your real background
    • Virtual Background — replaces your background with a selected image
    • None — shows your real background
  4. Select your preferred option and it will apply immediately.

Tips​

  • Use a neutral, professional virtual background if your physical environment is distracting or contains identifiable patient information.
  • Background blur works best with good lighting — ensure your face is well-lit for the best result.
