Host a Video Call

WithinEHR Telehealth lets you conduct secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions with your clients directly from the platform — no third-party apps required.


How to Start a Video Call

  1. Open the scheduled telehealth appointment from the Schedule tab.
  2. Click Start Video Call or Join Session.
  3. Allow your browser to access your camera and microphone when prompted.
  4. The client will receive a link to join the session via email or the client portal.
  5. Once the client joins, the session begins.

During the Call

  • Use the controls at the bottom of the screen to mute/unmute your microphone, turn your camera on or off, and share your screen.
  • Access the client's record in a separate tab for reference during the session.
  • Use the in-session chat for sharing links or notes.

Ending the Call

Click End Call to close the session for all participants.
